Dr. V S Prakash Attili is a well-rounded professional with extensive experience in the IT industry and academia. He is a Faculty in Information Technology and Systems and currently serves as the Program Director for the General Management Programme for IT Professional - C1 at IIM Lucknow MDP. Dr. Prakash is a passionate learner and has excelled in various roles such as Academician, Consultant, Agile Coach, Sr. Manager, and Researcher. Dr. Prakash has 18 years of industry experience in IT Service Delivery, leading large-scale projects with teams from multiple locations globally. He has a decade of management experience and six years of client-facing roles in the USA. Dr. Prakash was part of Infosys leadership teams and was recognized as a highly networked individual (JEDI) in Infosys. He has also participated as an invited speaker/panelist at prestigious industry forums like CII, ISACA, DSCI, EFY, and SPIN. As an Agile Coach and Certified Scrum Master, Dr. Prakash has enabled thousands of employees on Agile and acted as Strategic Advisory for multiple accounts. He established a dedicated security track and enabled thousands of employees by spreading awareness and creating learning modules in the domain of IDAM, Infra Security, and UVM. Dr. Prakash is a well-known researcher and leader in information privacy and security domains. He has shared his research views on ‘Information Privacy Assimilation in IT organization’ in international h-index conferences like Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), International conference on Information Systems (ICIS), and has won global recognition (Best doctoral research award) for his work from Association of Information systems (AIS), Atlanta, USA. His research in the area of “Information Privacy in IT Organizations” with an approach focusing on “Think beyond GDPR.” Dr. Prakash actively contributed to the AICTE review committee headed by MHRD, served as a Board of Studies member in reputed Universities, and was part of the Indian delegation for the ISO conference to develop standards (such as ISO 27001). Dr. Prakash is a graduate gold-medalist from Andhra University, holds a master’s degree from IIT Bombay, and a Ph.D. from IIT Madras.
